Reeves Confirms Batman part 2 Script Complete

Matt Reeves officially finishes ‘The Batman Part 2’ script, ending fan anticipation.

Batman Part 2: Script ready, fans are happy!

Matt Reeves and his fellow screenwriter Mattson Tomlin have finally completed the script for “The Batman Part 2”.

For months, DC Comics fans were very curious about the progress of this film, especially to know the status of the script.

Now with this news coming, it seems that the wait is about to end!

Waiting for the script

The release date of “The Batman Part 2” has been postponed several times, and there was uncertainty about when its shooting would start.

Even the film’s star, Robert Pattinson was not sure about it. Fans were also constantly asking for updates from DC Studios co-head James Gunn.

Gunn had said in an interview in late May that he expected to get the script in June, and it seems that Reeves has fulfilled his promise.

Director’s hint

Matt Reeves shared a blurry picture of the first page of the script of “The Batman Part 2” on his social media accounts.

In this picture, he and his partner Mattson Tomlin are seen sitting on the sofa. The caption read, “Partners in Crime (Fighters)”.

Entertainment Weekly has confirmed that the script is now officially complete.

Release delay and James Gunn’s defense

Warner Bros has pushed the release of “The Batman Part 2” to 2027. James Gunn and DC have always said that they will not start work on any project until the script is in good condition.

On questions asked by fans on social media about the constant delay in the script, Gunn defended Reeves.

He said, “People should give Matt time to write. He will do his job the way he does.”

Gunn also said that Reeves doesn’t pay attention to social media, but he is irritated by people’s entitlement.

Pattinson’s happiness and spin-off connection

Robert Pattinson himself will also be happy with this news. He joked in an interview in March that he would become “old Batman” by the time of the sequel.

The details related to the story of “The Batman Part 2” have not been revealed yet. In the first film, Pattinson’s Dark Knight fought Riddler (Paul Dano).

“The Batman” gave birth to Reeves’ own Bat-verse, named The Batman Epic Crime Saga. It is different from Gunn’s main DC Universe.

HBO’s spin-off series “The Penguin”, starring Colin Farrell as Oz Cobb, is tied to the events of “The Batman Part 2”.

“We’re working on a bridge between the two films,” show-runner Lauren LeFranc said.

The appearance of the Bat Signal at the end of the series indicates that the story is not over yet.

Cristin Milioti, who played Sofia Falcone, is also expected to reprise her role.

Now that the script is ready, fans are hoping that “The Batman Part 2” will begin filming soon. Are you excited about Matt Reeves’ Bat-verse?
