5 LGBTQ+ Couples Who Are Still Together?
This Netflix reality dating show puts six queer couples through the ultimate relationship test.
After trial marriages and tough decisions, five couples got engaged in Season 2.
But are the love stories still alive after the cameras are turned off?
AJ & Britney: Love is Still Hot
The lovebirds are happily planning their future. AJ says being engaged is “awesome” and thanks her trial spouse, Marita, for telling her that Britney would always put their relationship first.
“Now we feel more connected to each other,” Britney said at the reunion.
AJ has also upgraded his ring, replacing the old one with a more dazzling ring. The wedding date hasn’t been set, but they are dreaming of a destination wedding.
Marita & Ashley: Pyaar Ho Gaya Thanda
At the beginning of the show, Ashley gave Marita an ultimatum, but the tables turned.
By decision day, Ashley wasn’t ready to commit, and the two are now separated.
Tensions at the reunion grew when Marita confessed that she felt “heartbroken” and “used” after filming.
The ex-couple made accusations of infidelity against each other, with Marita even saying she “hated” Ashley.
After an emotional walkout and a brief cool down, both admitted that reconciliation “will take time.”
Marie & Mel: Completely Over
“Any relationship with Marie? Absolutely non-existent. That’s it,” Mel said at the reunion, smiling.
Marie admitted that she ended the relationship a few months after filming ended.
She began to set boundaries and pursue her individual interests, which may not have been right for a relationship.
Their food truck business is now Mel’s alone, while whispers circulate among cast members about Mel and trial spouse Dayna’s close bond (including a mysterious “sex playlist”).
Bridget & Kyle: Home Bliss
Bridget, previously confused about marriage, is now enjoying her engagement with Kyle.
The two have started living together and have Sunday cooking dates where they prepare meals together.
“Our love has deepened as we face challenges together,” Kyle shared.
Kyle’s mother also sent a heartwarming message, quoting Wicked and saying that their child has “changed for good” because of Bridget.
Haley & Pilar: Double Engagement
Not satisfied with one proposal, Haley proposed on her knees within a month of filming ending.
Although she has thought about eloping, no wedding date is fixed.
Pilar’s journey also includes difficult conversations with her parents about engagement.
“For the first time, I feel so free and happy,” she revealed. “Our love is enough.”
Dayna & Magan: Slowly Moving Forward
The couple is still engaged but not rushing into marriage. They want to build relationships with each other’s families first.
Progress is being made – Dayna went to Magan’s house for Thanksgiving, which was a first for Magan.
“It felt so good,” she shared with tears in her eyes.
Next milestone? Their parents are meeting each other.
