Mistakes on “Wheel of Fortune” leave fans in a mess on social media

Fans of “Wheel of Fortune” couldn’t stop laughing as contestants made hilarious mistakes that went viral on social media.

  • The person who guessed said, “Chocolate, chestnuts, and chickens.”
  • On social media, fans made fun of crazy ideas.

The famous game show “Wheel of Fortune,” which has been entertaining people for decades, made a series of hilarious mistakes that left people laughing and incredulous. Recently, there were two memorable mistakes made by contestants on the show that made fans laugh and led to a lot of talk about them on different platforms.

Tuesday’s Christmas-themed show had a puzzle in the “Same Letter” area. The board said, “Chocolate Chestnuts & Chi_ne_s.”

Even though McManus got all but two of the letters right, he still guessed “Chocolates, chestnuts, and chickens,” which left watchers confused.

Soon after, fans took to social media to comment on the game:

  • “Chickens are the next word that comes to mind when I think of chocolate and chestnuts,” one user joked.
  • What did that man think of when he saw that puzzle? Chocolate, peanuts, and chickens?”For a Christmas puzzle?!? #wof #wheelofFortune,” demanded another user.

• McManus missed his chance because Matt quickly answered the problem and got the right answer, which was “Chocolates, chestnuts, and chimneys.”

• A friend joked, “That was my shopping list last weekend,” making fun of the silly wrong answer.

Fans have been amused by a contestant’s error before. Will Jordan, a senior police officer, got the puzzle wrong in November.

He quickly read the words and thought for a moment that they said, “Treat yourself to a round of sausage,” as if someone were telling him to enjoy a tasty treat.

Upon closer inspection, he saw that the real message read, “Give yourself a round of applause,” telling him to be proud of his work and give himself some well-deserved praise.

  • At least one fan found Jordan’s guess about food funny. They said, “Not a great Wheel of Fortune play here, but I like where this dude’s stomach is.”
  • Someone else said, “Thanks, Will, I did!” I ate a whole pound of hot Italian sausage for dinner tonight, which came with pasta and vodka sauce.

Maggie Sajak, the social media reporter, told Jordan after the show that he had “gone blank” because of all the attention and stress of the game show.

Ryan Seacrest is taking over as host of “Wheel of Fortune” from the famous Pat Sajak. These funny moments serve as a reminder of the show’s long-lasting draw and the funny friendship it creates among fans.
