Sam Opens Up About Enduring Love
Sam, the 57-year-old director of “Back to Black,” acknowledges that many were first quite curious about the age gap. She comments on BBC Radio 4 that “we just couldn’t understand why people were so obsessed.” Three years after they got married, they were introduced on the “Nowhere Boy” set in 2009.
Sam maintains that their age difference has no impact on their day-to-day activities. She says, “It never comes up,” to The Guardian. Their age difference only comes out when others from outside inquire about it; otherwise, they have comparable interests and points of reference. She continues, “We’re a bit unusual, but after 14 years, shouldn’t it just not matter?”
Following Her Heart, No Room for Doubt
With four kids from both her former marriage and her present one, Sam readily welcomed her relationship with Aaron. She says, “Any doubts would have killed it.” She follows her gut and jumps into events, whether they are positive or negative.
