Salma Hayek Embraces Financial Independence Despite Billionaire Husband

Salma Hayek opens up about her desire to be financially independent, even with her wealthy husband’s fortune.

Salma Hayek, the acclaimed actress, has opened up about her desire to be financially independent, despite her husband’s considerable wealth.

In a recent interview, Hayek revealed that she takes pride in supporting various aspects of her life and herself.

“I have the pressure to make a certain amount of money, and I like it. And now, I decided, I want to make more,” the 58-year-old said.

Even though Hayek’s husband, François-Henri Pinault, comes from a billionaire family, the couple keeps their finances separate.

Hayek, who starred in the hit movie “Frida,” said there is no prenuptial agreement dividing their assets.

Interestingly, Hayek’s husband admires her strong work ethic. “I think he finds it kind of sexy,” she shared.

The actress, who shares a 17-year-old daughter with Pinault, is also considering business ventures with her daughter.

Hayek’s independent spirit can be traced back to her childhood. She was born into wealth, but her father lost his fortune when she was in her 20s.

This experience inspired Hayek to become the breadwinner for her family back home in Mexico.

“That’s when I became the best version of myself,” the “Eternals” star said.

Hayek and Pinault recently celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary, and the actress expressed her gratitude for finding her soulmate.

“There are no words to explain the blessing of finding your soulmate,” she wrote on Instagram.
