Dua Lipa & Cher open a star-studded Rock Hall of Fame ceremony! Kool & the Gang, Foreigner, and more make for a legendary night.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony was one seriously star-studded affair! Dua Lipa and Cher kicked things off with an amazing rendition of “Believe,” setting the stage for a night of legendary performances.

From there, it was a non-stop party, with Kool & the Gang bringing the funk, Foreigner and Peter Frampton delivering classic rock anthems and Dionne Warwick slaying at 83! Seriously, what a powerhouse vocalist.

This year’s inductees were a who’s who of music royalty: Mary J. Blige, A Tribe Called Quest, Ozzy Osbourne, the Dave Matthews Band, the late Jimmy Buffett (a huge loss), MC5, and several other influential artists.

Zendaya, who inducted Cher, gave a killer speech, pointing out Cher’s incredible seven-decade reign as a chart-topper.

Cher, ever the queen, gave a rocking performance of “If I Could Turn Back Time” and shared a heartwarming anecdote about never giving up.

Foreigner’s induction was particularly emotional, with Sammy Hagar giving a shout-out to their dedicated fans who championed their inclusion after more than 20 years of eligibility.

The current touring band, comprised of no original members, proved that the songs are what truly endure. Demi Lovato and Slash even joined in on the fun!

Kelly Clarkson’s powerful rendition of “I Want to Know What Love Is” was amazing, but the crowd went wild when Lou Gramm appeared surprised.

Peter Frampton’s induction was equally emotional, with Roger Daltrey (The Who) declaring it was “about bloody time!” A true guitar virtuoso, Frampton even had Keith Urban join him onstage.

The whole event was a glorious celebration of music history, proving that rock and roll is alive and well and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is doing a great job of returning to its diverse roots, bringing together a gumbo of musical genres.

Julia Roberts and Busta Rhymes even added to the star power! The ceremony was streamed live on Disney+ so even those who couldn’t be there in person could celebrate the best in rock history.
