when did Tony first become a dad?
Believe it or not, Tony was just 19! He was a student at the University of Dubuque in Iowa, actually there on a wrestling scholarship, when he and his then-wife, Rhonda Yeoman, welcomed their son Marc Anthony in 1971.
They went their separate ways three years later.
Tony himself has admitted that being such a young father wasn’t a walk in the park.
“In a way, it’s tough when you are a young father like that.
But you grow up together,” he once shared with the Los Angeles Times.
Did Marc Anthony follow his dad into showbiz?
He sure did, at least for a while! Born on January 29, 1971, Marc Anthony was the only one of Tony’s kids to dip his toes into Hollywood.
He even starred alongside his dad in Taxi back in 1978, when he was just a seven-year-old.
Tony was a bit hesitant about his son being a child actor, but Marc Anthony was keen.
“He really was so good,” Tony recalled, “It’s unbelievable the way he gets laughs and his sincerity.”
What’s Marc Anthony up to these days?
Marc Anthony has since stepped away from the Hollywood spotlight to focus on his own family.
He and his wife, Julie, have been married for over two decades and have two sons who are apparently big into baseball.
And here’s a neat tidbit: in 2010, Tony, Marc Anthony, and Marc’s older son, Nicholas, even teamed up to write a family cookbook called Don’t Fill Up on the Antipasto: Tony Danza’s Father-Son Cookbook. How cool is that?

After Tony married Tracy Robinson in 1986, they welcomed their daughter Katherine, or Katie as she’s known, on May 8, 1987.
While Katie didn’t become an actress, she found her niche in a world pretty close to her dad’s – she’s a freelance celebrity makeup artist and beauty consultant!
Has Katherine made a name for herself?
Absolutely! She’s worked with big names like Leighton Meester, Chrissy Teigen, and Rachel Bilson.
Plus, she’s collaborated with brands such as 7 For All Mankind and Puma, and even W magazine.
Before going solo, she was a beauty editor at The Zoe Report. Pretty impressive, right?
Any big news for Katherine recently?
Yes! On December 16, 2023, Katherine married Adam Greenberg in Los Angeles at Hotel Per La.
She chose the venue because of its Italian heritage, a nod to her roots.
Her younger sister, Emily, was her bridesmaid, and both her parents walked her down the aisle.
And in May 2024, Katherine and Emily even appeared with their mom in a Joe’s Jeans campaign, recreating some childhood photos!
And who is Tony’s youngest, Emily?
Emily, or Emmie, Tony and Tracy’s second daughter, was born on November 24, 1992. She’s taken a completely different path and is a certified professional yogi!
How did Emily get into yoga?
Her journey with breathwork and mobility began in New York back in 2011.
She even did an apprenticeship with Yoga to the People and studied functional range conditioning.
After teaching in studios across Manhattan, she’s now based in L.A., where she teaches both in-person and through her digital studio.
What’s new in Emily’s life?
Emily tied the knot with her husband, CJ, on October 15, 2022, looking chic in an ivory pantsuit with her sister Katherine by her side as bridesmaid.
Tony, ever the proud dad, made a speech and even serenaded his youngest. “It was the most beautiful day,” he said, adding that CJ is “a great guy.”
