Tia Mowry clarifies her remark about distancing from Twin Tamera, highlighting life’s changes and their enduring bond.
Tia Mowry recently talked about the rumors going around about her not being as close to her twin sister, Tamera Mowry.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Tia explained that her comment wasn’t about any problems between them but rather about how life naturally changes things up.
“As we get older, we all start families and have to focus on our kids,” she said. “We take on new jobs and roles, and sometimes, we just miss the easy, tight bond we had before.”
The actress also talked about how being in different places has made them feel more distant.
Tia is still in Los Angeles close to their family, but Tamera lives in Napa, California, with her husband and kids.
The six-hour drive makes it hard to see each other without planning, showing how family relationships change over time.

Tia made it clear she still loves Tamera a lot, saying, “I love my sister a ton, and she loves me back. We have a really strong and beautiful bond.”
She shared this after feeling pretty lonely after her divorce from Cory Hardrict, which was mentioned in a sneak peek of her new show on WE TV, “Tia Mowry: My Next Act.”
During this tough time, she really wanted her sister’s support, which made some fans think their relationship was on the rocks.
But Tia pointed out that Tamera wasn’t surprised by the reaction, pointing out how the media can twist words easily.
“In this business for over 30 years, things can get twisted up pretty quickly,” she said. In the end, both sisters, who are famous for their roles on the hit sitcom “Sister, Sister,” keep inspiring people while dealing with the ups and downs of life and family.
