“I’m a huge fan” – Sweeney reveals
Sydney Sweeney isn’t closing any doors to joining the Barbie world.
The rising star recently hinted about her desire to work with Margot Robbie in a potential sequel to last year’s blockbuster hit.
Dream team possibility
“I’d have to read the script, but I’m a huge fan of Margot’s,” Sweeney admitted in her interview with Bustle.
She showed her enthusiasm, saying, “I wouldn’t be opposed to it.”
Sequel status: Complicated
Despite Warner Bros. showing interest in continuing Barbie’s journey, producer Robbie herself seems hesitant.
Last November, she told the Associated Press, “I think we put everything into this one. We didn’t set out to make it a trilogy.”
Robbie insisted, “Greta put everything into this movie, so I can’t imagine what’s next.”
Euphoria update: “Wild ride” coming
Meanwhile, Sweeney couldn’t hide her excitement about returning to the set for season 3 of Euphoria after several production delays.
“I’m so happy to be back. It’s like I’m with my old family,” she happily said. “We’ve been doing this since I was 20.”

Cassie’s journey continues
When asked about her character, Cassie, Sweeney hinted: “Oh my gosh.
I can say it’s going to be a wild ride. I was really shocked by the turn Cassie’s life took.”
The actress seems really excited about the upcoming season, adding, “I’m so excited for the whole show.”
Reunion Vibes
Sweeney highlighted the family-like atmosphere on set, revealing that many crew members from previous seasons have returned.
“Many crew members from Season 1 and Season 2 are still here. It’s like a reunion.”
With her career moving forward after projects like Anyone But You and her upcoming Christy Martin biopic, fans can’t help but wonder if we’ll ever actually see Sweeney in the world of Barbie—even if Robbie doesn’t yet believe a sequel is coming.
