Sarah Jessica Parker hints
New possibilities are boiling in the magic pot! Recently on Andy Cohen’s show “Watch What Happens Live!”, Sarah Jessica Parker revealed that a third Hocus Pocus movie is in talks.
“There’s no major progress yet, just that we want to make it,” Parker said when asked about a third movie. “We’ve started some conversations.”
A Spell That Keeps Working
The original 1993 Halloween classic introduced us to three mischievous witches who were accidentally brought back to Salem alive.
Nearly three decades later, Disney+ has a sequel in 2022, reuniting Parker with Bette Midler and Kathy Najimy as the famous Sanderson sisters.
Disney says it’s gonna happen
These rumors aren’t just rumors. Walt Disney Studios executive Sean Bailey confirmed last year that Hocus Pocus 3 was happening, with Anne Fletcher returning as director and Jen D’Angelo to write the script.

Timing is important
Bette Midler seems eager to put on her witch’s cloak again, but she stressed the importance of timing.
“Catch us while we’re still breathing, I mean, God!” she said last year when she mentioned hearing “Bust,” though she hadn’t seen the script.
Beyond Salem
While fans await more mischief from the Sanderson sisters, Parker is busy with the third season of HBO Max’s Sex and the City revival “And Just Like That…,” which follows life in the ’50s for Carrie and her friends.
She’s also executive producing “The Librarians,” a documentary about the fight against book-banning across America.
Will the sisters fly again? Only time will tell if this Halloween favorite will get another chance to cast a spell on audiences.
