Robin Wright: “Why did I get three cheques? “
At the famous festival in Monte-Carlo, Robin told the story of his “House of Cards.” “Man, he clearly said, ‘You can’t be paid that much as an actor.”
Then what happened? The studio has come up with a solution! “Well, we will give three different cheques – for acting, for direction, and for producing.”
When Robin asked why there was not an equal amount of money directly, the answer came: “Because you have not won an Oscar. “Oh, what an excuse!
The artificial intelligence: Who’s friend, who’s enemy?
What does Robin think about artificial intelligence? “I fear for my industry. With the advent of artificial intelligence, people will lose jobs.”
But in terms of acting, he is very confident. “Artificial intelligence will never be able to bring the emotion to the eyes that a real actor brings. That resonance, that resonance will never come.”
When the streaming started…
What happened when streaming was new? “House of Cards” director David Fincher saw the future, she says.

What’s happening nowadays?
These days, Robin is playing three roles in Prime Video’s “The Girlfriend” – acting, directing and producing.
At the festival, she showed a special scene in which she was interacting with her on-screen son in a sauna.
His work is also very much appreciated. The Monte-Carlo Festival has given her the Crystal Nymph Award – an honour for her entire career.
Artificial intelligence may be changing the world, but Robin believes that some things will always remain human, such as eye-catching emotions and a fighting spirit for what is right!
