Vegas is better than Los Angeles
Love Island USA fan-favorite Rob Rausch will not be joining his Season 6 castmates on the new spinoff series. During a recent Instagram Live with JaNa Craig, Rob opened up about turning down Love Island: Beyond the Villa.
“Just didn’t feel right”
The 26-year-old reality star explained his simple reason: he doesn’t live in Los Angeles.
“Like, what do you want me to do? Just come in and say, ‘Hey, this is my life. I live here for eight weeks’?” Rob said. “It didn’t make any sense. It was inauthentic to me.”
JaNa understands
Even JaNa, who joined the spinoff, admitted that filming wasn’t exactly what he expected.
“Every day I thought, ‘I can understand why Rob said no’,” she admitted, although her team did line up YouTube and TikTok content opportunities during the two-month Los Angeles shoot.
