Mark Cuban’s straight-up revelation shakes up the political world
Mark Cuban recently made a big revelation – he turned down the chance to join Kamala Harris’ presidential ticket last year.
The straight-talking billionaire admitted that he is not at all fit to play the role of number two.
Rumors that turned out to be true
During an open conversation on the Bulwark podcast, host Tim Miller asked Cuban about a juicy rumor from MSNBC’s green room.
It was reported that the Harris campaign had asked Cuban to submit papers for the vice-presidential investigation, and he flatly refused.
“Yes, it did happen,” Cuban confirmed in his familiar style.
“I’m not going to kiss children.”
The Shark Tank star explained why he refused: “I’m not as good as the number two guy,” he told Miller.
“The last thing we need is for me to tell Kamala, the president, ‘No, that’s a stupid idea,'” Cuban added. “I’m not really good at shaking hands and kissing kids.”

What could have happened?
While Harris ultimately chose Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate, Miller wondered if Cuban could have changed the outcome of the election.
“It would have been obviously different,” Cuban admitted. “I cut the crap straight.
I’m not a politician, so that it would have been different – but it would have been terrible. “
Then, with characteristic Cuban laughter, came a quip: She would have me fired within six days. “
From Biden to Harris
When President Biden abruptly abandoned his re-election bid in July 2024, Cuban became one of Harris’s most vocal supporters.
Despite their enthusiastic support at rallies in swing states, it wasn’t enough to stop Trump and Vance from winning.
“You know, I really thought she would win,” Cuban admitted, showing a rare glimpse of political desperation from the usually confident businessman.
