In a recent interview with PEOPLE, the 55-year-old icon talked about how excited she was to work with the 31-year-old pop star, especially since they had already worked together on “Oh Santa!” in 2020 and their most recent version of “Yes, And?” came out in February.
Grande questioned Carey about the remix that was on the “slightly deluxe” edition of her album Eternal Sunshine. Carey thought about the call and said, “I thought it would be fun, and I love her.”
