Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard just can’t handle Severance’s mind-blowing cliffhangers – and they’re making sure Adam Scott knows it!

The famous duo has turned their TV frustration into comedy gold, bombarding their friend with voicemails that are equally flattering and savage.

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard’s Most Impatient Fans

You know that feeling when a show ends on a massive cliffhanger? Bell and Shepard take it to another level.

They don’t just yell at the TV—they call the star directly! During a recent Variety interview, Scott spilled the beans about the couple’s hilarious habit of blowing up his phone after watching Severance episodes.

“I’ve kept all of them,” Scott admitted with a laugh. “They’re hilarious and deeply flattering, but also deeply insulting.”

The Voicemail That Takes The Cake

Bell couldn’t help but share her husband’s most dramatic performance.

After one particularly frustrating episode, Shepard screamed into Scott’s voicemail: “Hey, Adam!

Kristen just fell out of a two-story window! I bet you’d like to know how she’s doing. I’ll tell you next week!”

Talk about making a point about those Severance cliffhangers!

“One Minute Per Week?”

The power couple’s impatience reached fever pitch during the three-year wait between seasons.

They didn’t hold back, calling Scott during filming to demand answers.

“Are you guys shooting this one minute per week?” they asked. “Why is it taking so f—ing long?”

Scott’s response? Pure sass. He joked that season 3 would now take seven years—just to spite them.

Behind The Severance Delays

Despite Scott’s teasing, Severance creator Dan Erickson actually aims to speed things up.

After learning valuable lessons from two seasons, he’s promised fans won’t have to wait three years again.

“Having done it twice now, there’s more understanding of what works,” Erickson explained. “Our goal is never to draw out people’s pain for three years.”

A Friendship Built On Brutal Honesty

This isn’t just random celebrity drama. Scott and Bell go way back, having worked together on Party Down and Parks and Recreation.

Their friendship allows for this kind of playful harassment that makes Severance watching a whole different experience for the trio.

Bell admitted she and Shepard regularly leave “nice, long, detailed, unedited” voice memos whenever they watch something that moves them—or in Severance’s case, frustrates them to no end.

For Severance fans everywhere, it’s comforting to know that even Hollywood stars lose their minds over those brutal episode endings.

The only difference? Most of us can’t call Adam Scott to complain about it!
