Jennifer Love Hewitt tells the real murders

This extremely juicy six-part series takes a deep look at how real murders can be enjoyed by groups of friends, creating that skin-crawling feeling where no one knows whom to trust.

`The whole concept cleverly touches on the stomach-dropping fear that made Hewitt’s ‘90s slasher flicks such huge hits.

“Small friend groups. Small fears, stories of murder and deception,” Hewitt warns in the trailer, her voice evoking the same sense of uneasiness felt decades ago. “Sure, you can trust your friends. But I won’t.”

Raw Emotions on Camera

The first trailer of the show hits straight to the heart after hearing the gut-wrenching confessions of real people who lost their friends to murder.

“There are so many things I wish I had done if I knew,” says a woman, finding it hard to control herself.

Another friend questions everything she thought she knew: “If you can’t trust your friends, then whom will you trust?”

We see how these real people return to the places where horrific things happened.

“It’s so hard to imagine what was done to her there,” a woman stands at the crime scene and sobs.

The Horror Queen is now the truth-teller

For Hewitt, who is returning to her Julie James role in the “I Know What You Did Last Summer” sequel coming later this year, this project brilliantly connects her make-believe past with a rock-solid reality.

“This format allows me to mix my acting experience with real stories,” Hewitt explained.

“We’re blending different perspectives to show how these tragedies completely shatter people’s trust.”
