Imagine Dragons frontman journeys away from Mormon faith

Dragons Singer Moves Away from Mormon Faith

Imagine Dragons lead singer Dan Reynolds was raised in a devout household. He was raised in a traditional Mormon home, went to Brigham Young University, and even completed a mission. But in his twenties, his opinions started to change.

Since then, Reynolds has cut ties with the Mormon faith. Although he recognizes the beneficial impact it has had on his family, he also recognizes certain negative elements, especially with regard to LGBTQ+ youngsters. He clearly cares about this topic, as seen by LOVELOUD, his nonprofit that assists LGBTQ+ youngsters.

Faith Shift, Strong Family Bond

Reynolds and his family are not at odds with one another despite his choice of career. He expresses his admiration and love for them. He prioritizes his children's freedom to pursue their own spirituality by raising them outside of the church.

Imagine Dragons' largest-ever North American tour, the Loom World Tour, kicks out this summer.
