Becca Tilley & Hayley Kiyoko’s real-life love story

Becca Tilley, who viewers remember from her Bachelor days with Chris Soules and Ben Higgins, has finally found her perfect partner.

The former reality contestant is now engaged to pop singer and actress Hayley Kiyoko after seven years together.

Magical proposal moment

“The girl of my dreams said yes to forever,” the couple shared on Instagram alongside stunning photos from the proposal.

The photos show Kiyoko down on one knee surrounded by sparkling water, Tilley’s tearful joy, and a celebratory hug that says everything about their happiness.

From private to public love

Although they’ve been together for seven years, the couple kept their relationship under wraps until 2022.

Their love dramatically went public when they shared a kiss on stage during a party for Kiyoko’s aptly named song “For the Girls,” whose Bachelor-inspired music video Tilley also starred in.

How they met

The couple’s love story began in April 2018 at the release party for Kiyoko’s album “Expectations.”

Funnily enough, Tilley wasn’t looking for romance at all that night. “I wore a shirt that said ‘No time for romance,'” he once shared on Instagram. “Hayley ignored it.”

Fast-moving love

Despite Tilley’s fashion statement, the connection was instant. “We fell in love very quickly,” he revealed.

“It’s truly a cosmic mystery how someone can be a stranger one moment and the most important person to me the next.”

Finding Privacy After Reality TV

After living her dating life on national television, Tilley intentionally kept this relationship more private.

“My last relationship was pretty public and open,” she explained. “I got to a point where I think, ‘Can I keep anything to myself?'”

For Kiyoko, best known for her work on “Lemonade Mouth” and “The Fosters,” and Tilley, it seems the wait for privacy — and for the right partner — was well worth it.
