Shocking Decision
Anna Camp is not hiding her feelings about this year’s Emmy nominations.
The 42-year-old actress, who played twin sisters Reagan and Maddie Lockwood on the last season of “You,” reacted on social media after not seeing her name on the nominations list announced on July 15.
Her direct reaction
Anna shared a screenshot from “You” on Instagram in which her character looked confused, looking at her phone.
She spoke straight from the heart in the caption: “I was reading about the nominations this morning, knowing I gave one of the best performances of my life while trying to be happy for everyone while also remembering I made a resolution not to drink during the week 🫠”
Fans’ support
Followers offered support, agreeing with Anna’s assessment of her dual role performance.
One fan commented, “You were 🔥🔥🔥🔥… Snobs are for Scrubs. I’ll drink a peg for you 🥂,” while another added, “If I wasn’t nominated for this performance I’d be drunk too ❤️.”
Personal support
Anna’s girlfriend, Jade Whipkey, also chimed in with words of encouragement: “Absolutely jaw-dropping performance 🌹. Very few people get the chance to play twin sisters and no one did it like you. Hollywood should take notes ✍️!!!”

“You’s Emmy drought
Despite running for five seasons, “You” has never been awarded an Emmy. The show began on Lifetime in 2018 and moved to Netflix after the first season.
Who got nominated?
Anna would have likely been considered for the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama category.
This year’s nominees include Julianne Nicholson (“Paradise”), Katherine LaNasa (“The Pit”), Patricia Arquette (“Severance”), and “White Lotus” stars Aimee Lou Wood, Carrie Coon, Natasha Rothwell, and Parker Posey.
What’s Next
The 2025 Emmy Awards ceremony will air on CBS on September 14 and stream on Paramount+ at 8 p.m. ET.
In the meantime, all five seasons of “You” are available on Netflix for viewers to evaluate Anna’s performance for themselves.
